A.k.a. Andrew Christopher Denton
Andrew Denton (born May 4, 1960, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian radio and television presenter, comedian and producer. Some of the programs he presented included musical elements. One such program was television show 'The Money Or The Gun' (1989-1990), each episode ended with a version of Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway To Heaven'. A selection of these versions were released on The Money Or The Gun - Stairways To Heaven and a version by Rolf Harris reached number 7 in the UK singles chart. A segment on his morning radio show named 'Musical Challenge' resulted in the release of three albums with the series title of The Andrew Denton Breakfast Show Musical Challenge, which featured a band or musician performing a cover version of a song, usually in a style that contrasted with their own. Two of the albums were subsequently released on CD.
