Andrey Vinnitsky (b. 1980) is a Russian percussionist and one of the members of Mark Pekarsky Percussion Ensemble. In 1993, he became a laureate of All-Russian Percussion Performers Competition, and also won the first prize with Andrey Doynikov at the International Youth "Simphonia" Competition in Volgograd in 1998. Andrey studied percussion with Prof. Pekarsky at the Moscow Conservatory and graduated in 2002, pursuing his studies with Mark as a post-graduate student at the Centre for Contemporary Music in Moscow Conservatory, where he also performs at Studio for New Music Ensemble. Vinnitsky had been performing solo and with various ensembles in USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Portugal, Holland, Czech Republic, Latvia and all over Russia.
