American writer, music journalist, DJ/broadcaster and musician. Lisle is the author of three books and has contributed to Wax Poetics, the Guardian, MOJO, Paste, Living Blues, Southern Palate, and other publications. She is also author of liner notes for labels including Light in the Attic, Fat Possum, and Rhino Records. She is the host of the weekly hip hop show Rapper’s Delight on WEVL FM 89.9 in Memphis and associate curator of film and public engagement at the 100-year-old Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.
