Andy Cutting is established amongst the leading players and developers of the diatonic button accordion, creating new music for the instrument which draws on a long experience of various traditional dance styles, of which he is an acknowledged master. He is a member of the band 'Blowzabella' and in collaborations with violinist Chris Wood and hurdy-gurdy player Nigel Eaton, he has pioneered a uniquely thoughtful and inventive approach to the interpretation of music from the English, French and Quebecois traditions. Also is a part of Mark Emerson's '1651' ensemble.
