Fronted by Andy Grant, a Dorset based singer/songwriter guitarist. When a job in a South African gold mine didn’t work out, Andy chose to make his living playing original blues music on street corners as far flung as Melbourne and Copenhagen. Now, with upwards of a thousand shows notched on his guitar neck, Grant has earned a wide and loyal fan base, winning over audiences time and again with his unique mix of Soul, Roots and Blues. This award winning artist blends earthy vocals and dynamic guitar work with instant and memorable original songs. Bassist Simon Rushbrook , and current drummer Jack Revy complete the Trio lineup. Together they sound like J.J. Cale with a shot of Led Zeppelin and a measure of John Martyn (shaken not stirred!). Their classic 3 piece sound relies heavily on improvisation, making every performance vibey and fresh.
