Trumpet player Andy King graduated from McGill University, perfecting his technique alongside Kenny Wheeler, Dave Liebman, and Kenny Werner in improvisation workshops at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Besides his work with the sextet Dr Noh, he moves around the musical horizon, appearing with ensembles such as [IKS] and the Regina Symphony Orchestra Chamber Ensemble.
