A.k.a. Edith Käte Angélique Widengren
Swedish singer born April 3 1967. Was a member of the pop trio Sound Of Music (2) 1985-1988 together with Nanne Grönvall and Peter Grönvall. They competed in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest pre-selection Melodifestivalen twice with the songs "Eldorado" and Alexandra", and released two albums. Angélique was married to singer Don Bennechi in the late nineties and recorded a couple of duets together with him. In 2000 Angélique recorded several well-known Swedish children's songs such as "Min Ponny", "Herr Gårman" and "Jag Vill Ha Blommig Falukorv" for a series of compilation albums called "Barnens Önskevisor". In 2002 Angélique formed dance act Free Fantazy together with Kim Granberg and released the singles "Feel The Power" and "House Party". Submitted the song "Öppna Upp För Kärleken" performed by herself to Melodifestivalen. It wasn't chosen to compete in the music contest but found new life as "Trelli Kardia" for Helena Paparizou. It was released on her Platinum Selling album "My Number One" in 2005.
