Single UK 1993 on Carpet Records label
Pop and Soundtrack (Europop, Musical, Parody)
This was a promotional single released to coincide with the ill fated Eurovision musical/play in 1993 which played at the Vaudeville Theatre in the Strand in London. The single is ostensibly performed by Michael Matus and Anita Dobson. There are NO writers' credits beyond those of Tim Luscombe who wrote and directed the play. It is thought that this could in fact be the work of Andrew Lloyd Webber who would ironically go on and actually write Great Britain's entry for the real Eurovision Contest in 2008. Apparently his 1967 failed collaboration with Tim Rice to write for Eurovision featured the lyrics Bim-Bam-Bom. The song would later go on to become King Herod's Song in Jesus Christ Superstar.
