Ann Coates was only 17 and from Glan Conwy, North Wales, when this record was released (according to the photo-insert with the record) and had already performed on radio, television and in front of live audiences. She went on to make at least two LPs on the Westwood Recordings label ("That Star Belongs To Me" and "Please Don't Cut The Roses"). The tracks are recorded in Welsh and are translations of songs called (1) Snowbird, (2) Mother Of Mine, (3) The Old Rugged Cross, and (4) True Love.
