Anna was born 11 December 1991 in Sweden. She first became known after participation in Swedish Idol 2008 where she finished fifth. She represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 where she ended up in 11th place of her semi-final. Her first album was Yours Sincerely which was released in April 2010.
