Songwriter, born 7 March 1922 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Co-founded Anna Records in the late 1950's with her sister Gwen and Billy Davis. She is a sister of Motown founder Berry Gordy and was married to Marvin Gaye from 1962 until 1977. Died on January 31, 2014, at the age of 92, following many years of declining health.
