Record housed in back cover pocket of a 36-page, saddle-stitched b/w programme booklet (235 x 235mm) Programme booklet edited and designed by Wenzel de Neergaard, includes articles by editor: "Schikaneder and the quest for the sources", "Mozart's Last Letters", "Mozart's Masonic Opera", and "Rehearsing The Magic Flute. Komische Oper, Berlin" by Götz Friedrich, as well as 4 pages of full-page sponsor advertisements. NB: The connection between the record and programme is limited to the last paragraph of the acknowledgements page (image 4): "But "The Magic Flute" is not only Freemasonry and divine art. The record by Anna Russell included therefore may give you a more Papageno-like approach to the opera, which happily is in its own way quite as relevant."
