Anna-Lisa Öst

A.k.a. Lapp-Lisa

18.10.1889 - 27.04.1974. Born Vikström in Mark, Vilhelmina, Sweden. Öst found salvation in 1908 and promised God to serve him. Her first recording were made in 1929 (or 1931, not yet confirmed). Her most famous tune were "Barnatro" (written by Ejnar Westling) which sold in over in hundreds of thousands copies. After signing with Sonora (2) she released her recordings on the sublabel Sonata (2). Mother of Siv Öst.
