Anthem Eighty Eighty (1999-2000) was a short-lived hardcore band that featured members of Florida grindcore band Assück; Rob Proctor on drums, Jason Crittenden on bass, Steve Heritage on guitar, as well as newcomer Matt Welch on vocals. The band started as a Chain Of Strength cover band for a tribute show to legendary 1980s youthcrew bands, but soon turned into a more serious project.
