Born in New York City in 1943, studied at the Manhattan and Eastman Schools of Music, with Vittorio Giannini, Aaron Copland, and David Diamond. Iannaccone has a substantial catalogue of works in a variety of genres and is widely published and performed. He has won numerous awards and commissions, including from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Michigan Council for the Arts, and ASCAP.
