A Digital Recording by Soundstream. Inc. Recorded in Bridges Auditorium, Claremont, California on May 25 and 29, 1981 Digital Recording, Editing and Mastering by Soundstream, Inc.: Richard Feldman, Sydney Davis, Jim Wolvington. Disc Mastering at Mobile Fidelity, using an Ortofon transformerless cutting system. Recording was done using two Schoeps 221B omni-directional microphones in a basic stereo placement to achieve a recording of optimum clarity and natural balance. The orchestra was positioned left to right of the conductor: first violins, violas, celli, second violins, and bass behind celli. The Studier Model 16 Stereo Mixer (battery powered) was fed directly into the Digital Tape Recorder.
