A.k.a. Анто́н Анто́нович Де́львиг
Baron Anton Antonovich Delvig (Russian: Анто́н Анто́нович Де́львиг; [ɐnˈton ɐnˈtonəvʲɪtɕ ˈdʲelʲvʲɪk]; 17 August [O.S. 6 August] 1798, Moscow - 26 January [O.S. 14 January] 1831, St. Petersburg) was a Russian poet and journalist who studied in the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum together with Alexander Pushkin, and Wilhelm Küchelbecker with whom he became close friends. Küchelbecker dedicated a poem ('O, Delvig') to him. Delvig commissioned a portrait of Pushkin from Orest Kiprensky which Pushkin bought from Delvig's widow after his friend's death.
