He was original member of the "Original Dixieland Jass Band" with Alcide Yellow Nunez formed the "Louisiana Five" and subsequently the "Lada's Louisiana Orchestra". Composed some notably tracks as "Arkansas Blues" and "Barcelona". Born : September 25, 1890 in Chicago, Illinois. Died : August 28, 1944 in Santa Monica, California.
