Composer of Classical
Venezuelan composer, born 1 January 1916 in Calabozo/Guárico; died 26 November 1988 in Caracas. In 1943 he founded the choir of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. From 1961 he lived in Europe, worked with Pierre Schaeffer in Paris, in 1971 he returned to Venezuela and founded the Instituto de Fonología Musical.
