Musician / Composer of Jazz and Rock
Born in Aquilonia, Italy on January 13th 1964, composer and guitarist Antonio Onorato holds a vast artistic career, with great success in the world of jazz; his search is based on the fusion of harmonic-melodic language styles in relation to the Neapolitan culture with the influence from African, Middle Eastern and Brazilian music, which has led him to develop a very personal language style. He has also developed a personal and unique playing on the breath-controlled guitar-synth Yamaha G 10, worked closely and released albums with Brazilian guitarist Toninho Horta, produced numerous soundtracks for film and television and collaborated on records with several international musicians such as ECM drummer Paolo Vinaccia, trumpeter Enrico Rava, ethno-jazz drummer Paco Sery as well as Italian top musicians: Pino Daniele, James Senese, Tullio De Piscopo and more.
