A.k.a. Antony Harding Ant (4)
He used to be the drummer of the British pop sensation Hefner (2), but also released solo efforts under the name of Ant (4), mainly just guitar and voice. He started recording in the summer of 1988 in his bedroom on the Isle of Wight. 1999 saw the first two very limited 7" releases of his solo work on Evil World Records and Fabulous Friends Records. In the summer of 2000 Fortune And Glory Records published the first mini-album of Ant ("Cures For Broken Hearts") with his first full length album ("A Long Way To Blow A Kiss") following on the same label in 2002. In April 2002 he moved to Sweden and continued to release songs, split 7"ers and albums on various labels, such as Homesleep who released his second album ("Footprints Through The Snow") in 2006, Zenith Recordings, Smudgey Records, Fortune & Glory, Black Candy Records and Acuarela Discos. He now releases his music with Pocket Records in China and the We Were Never Being Boring collective in Italy who released his third Ant album ("The Birds Sing Goodnight To You and Me") in 2012 and his fourth album but first as Antony Harding ("By The Yellow Sea") in 2015.
