Artist Portrait

Aorta

b,
Musician of Rock

Heavy Metal band from Argentina. It was the year 1997 when Daniel de Tullio (Voice and bass) separated from his old band Adrenalina. From that moment he began to look for new members to form what in the future would be Aorta. This is how different musicians were tested, until in April 1998, Mariano Pampín (guitar and choirs, former Lacras) joined, another guitarist named Fernando but without finding any stable drummer. Later, Fernando would leave the position of guitarist, where several were tested but none would meet the expectations of the band. After two years, when luck did not seem to accompany the fate of the group, in June 2000 they finally find Diego Burgueño (drums) filling in this way the space that was always vacant. With this formation they would debut in the month of October at the Teatro del Plata. At the end of that year they would record their first production called "Seguir peleando" (Ep), which included, in addition to the title track, with the following songs: Holocaust, Through the time, Pigs, For Tania, Aorta and the cover of V8 - Metal brigades. The production was recorded in what was at that time the rehearsal room of the band, which was nothing else, than the garage of the house of Daniel's parents. The presentation of the same was between various places of Cap. Fed. And province of Bs.As. In March of 2002 they recorded their second independent production "Desde el infierno" that included the six tracks of the EP, re-recorded, and six new, among them are: Feel the Metal, Without memory, Aboriginal blood, The sky reach, The marginal side With you they can not; but this time the cover of the album was by Ronnie James Dio - Rainbow in the dark. Due to the social situation that the country lived at that time, the band decided to call the album in that way to not be alien to the environment that reigned at the time. Like the previous album, it was also presented in several places and the band played twice as a guest group of Almafuerte. Because of the influences of the band (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Hermetic, etc.) Aorta decided to incorporate Nicolás Martínez (Guitar and choirs, ex Johann) in February 2004, to fully face the recording of his second full-length album "Esclavo of your punishment ", which had the special participation of Claudio Marciello (Almafuerte) and saw the light at the beginning of 2005 under the label Del Imaginario Discos, professionalizing in this way the proposal of the band, since it is distributed throughout the country officially. The themes that make up the plaque are: Failed, Brotherhood, Difficult to walk, Time, Unmeasured, Interval, Social slave, A light, Liberator, Steel tracks and the cover of Judas Priest - Electric eye. At present Aorta is presenting its material, despite the difficulties, to spread, grow and thus be able to catch the Heavy Metal audience that continues to resist and we with them.
