A.k.a. Anthony Peaks
US rapper who had short lived success with backing from A Tribe Called Quest and Naughty By Nature. His first appearance was in 1990 on The 45 King Presents The Flavor Unit by The Flavor Unit. Apart from his individual records (see below), he also featured on several albums by Naughty By Nature, 2Pac, Fat Joe, etc. Apache's debut album “Apache Ain't Shit” was released in 1991 and peaked at #66 on the Billboard 200 and #15 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Also featured on the album was the hit single "Gangsta Bitch" which went to #67 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #11 on the Hot Rap Singles. Apache also released a second single, "Do Fa Self." Died 22 January 2010 after a protracted illness.
