Aphrodite (born Gavin King ) also known as A Zone or DJ Aphro, is a UK jungle and drum and bass DJ/producer on the Urban Takeover label. One of the oldest drum and bass producers,[citation needed] he largely contributed to and influenced the genre's current styles and techniques. He was born and raised in Aberystwyth, and moved to London with his family as a toddler. He studied computer science.The song "King of the Beats" was featured in the video games Rollcage and SSX Tricky, and "Wobble" in SSX3.[citation needed]
