Apollo Slice is a Berlin based duo, founded in summer of 2008 by Irie Electric and Brett Knacksen. Their sound can be described as mixture of Minimal Techno and Microhouse, very rhythmic and with carefully selected deep and atmospheric sounds, which makes their music easily recognisable. Both of them are performing as Djs since 2002 and are very active on the German scene and wider, while Irie also holds a residency in well known Berlin club Tresor. Their live DJ performances also feature tighter sounds, but just as with their releases they do no compromises, and you can easily get drowned in their hypnotic sound, obviously inspired by numerous never ending parties across Berlin.
