Rock (Parody)
Some may call ApologetiX kitschy; we say we're just nichey. Do those words rhyme? That depends on how you pronounce "niche." Does it rhyme with "ditch," "leash," or "wish"? Merriam-Webster accepts all three. Pronunciation may depend on your niche group. ApX is a niche group that appeals to a niche group (parody lovers) within a niche group (Christian-music listeners). That's pretty nichey. We're not the first to use that word. Various sources say it means "not mainstream but serving a narrow market or audience." Yep, that's us. We may be nichey, but we're nowhere near Nietzsche, though some pronounce those words about the same. Experts seem to favor "Nee-chuh," but Merriam-Webster and others also list "Nee-chee" as acceptable. And we've heard it pronounced even closer to nichey. Right said, Fred ...er ... Friedrich? Well, he's not around to tell us, and he wasn't always right anyway. After all, God isn't really dead, and neither is His Son. Track #7 isn't really live, either. Those are just some of the secrets this CD has in store. Let's give it a listen, shall we?
