Band, *1993
Rock
Aquadays consisted of Lisa Aamot (Farfisa Organ), Martin Aamot (Fender Guitar, Roland Synthesizer, Rhythm Machines and Vocals), Klara Albinsson (Vocals), replaced by Sarah Assbring (Vocals). The group was formed, under the name Somersault, in November 1993 in Alingsås, a small town in western Sweden. In 1996, the original vocalist Klara Albinsson left the band and shortly after that, the band moved to Gothenburg, where they met their new singer Sarah Assbring. In March 1998, Sarah left the band, but the remaining members Martin and Lisa still planned to release the debut album, hopefully with the help of both previous female lead singers. Then in May 1998, original female lead vocalist Klara Albinsson decided to reunite with the band, right before their debut album "Electric Songs" was planned to be released. They write all songs together and only perform their own original material. Aquadays have released a number of demo tapes. In March 97 the band recorded twelve songs of which eight appears on their latest demo called "Spring". The songs recorded are all the songs from their previous demo "Ultramarine" + 'Spacious' and new songs 'Casablanca', 'Senseless' and 'Daydreamer'. On May 23rd 97 Aquadays played together with The Wellmeant at Tre Backar in Stockholm. In February 98 the band recorded their debut album in their home studio in Gothenburg.. May 98: Aquadays' debut album Electric Songs will probably be be released on Halmstad label Dorian Records. Former member Sarah is singing in Sadovaja.
