Ararat was initially a side project of Sergio Chotsourian, from Los Natas. The first album, "Música de La Resistencia" (2009) showed many experimental tracks done by Sergio with help from his brother and some friends. While Los Natas were breaking up, Chotsourian spent more time making the second album, "Vol II" (2011). This time he recorded with the new full member of the band: drummer Alfredo Felitte (from Taura, Buffalo and Banda de la Muerte). Early live shows were done only by Alfredo on drums/theremin and Sergio on bass and guitar. Later on, they asked Tito Fargo (from Los Redonditos de Ricota, Sumo and Gran Martell) to join in as guest guitar/keyboard player. After some touring, Tito was chosen as a full member and also producer of the born-again band. In 2013 they recorded their third album, "Cabalgata Hacia la Luz" (released in early 2014)
