Arashi is a free jazz trio consisting of Akira Sakata on sax, clarinet and vocals, accompanied by Johan Berthling on bass and Paal Nilssen-Love on drums, the group took their name from the collaborative album "Arashi" between the Yosuke Yamashita Trio and the dance group Dairakudakan. The group gave their first performance in 2013 at the Molde International Jazz Festival and released their homonymous album in 2014.
