Austin Agustín Santos was born in New York City, USA on December 23, 1985; to Dominican parents. He is better known by his stage name Arcángel, as a reggaetón vocalist & songwriter. His mother Carmen Santos Rosa; was a member of the merengue group Las Chicas Del Can; in the late eighties. Arcángel moved to Puerto Rico in 2002 & shortly thereafter in 2004; began his career as a member of the duo Arcángel y De La Ghetto. In 2007 he embarked on a solo career. After a variety of successful singles, albums and worldwide success topping the Billboard's Top Latin singles / albums chart for the past decade. Today Arcángel has remained one of the leading reggaetón performer's of Latin Music; now collaborations including J. Balvin, Maluma, Nicky Jam, Ñengo Flow, Daddy Yankee, Farruko, J Alvarez, Don Omar, Wisin Y Yandel; just to name a few.
