American gospel singer. Born October 25, 1925 , died February 8, 1960. Original leading tenor voice of the Jackson Harmoneers, a gospel singing group of the late forties that came to fame as the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi when they recorded the R&B hit selling gospel-song "Our Father" in 1950 issued by Don Robeys Peacock Records.
