Reeds/bass/drums trio from Newcastle upon Tyne. Movable blocks of sound; riffs, silence, noise, grooves and improvisation are brought together, placed alongside or layered across each other. The Archipelago sound fuses jazz, garage-rock and the avant garde into a fluid collage, somewhere between the fixed and the floating.
