Known by his nickname "Silver" (his given name is similar to argyros, the Greek word for silver), this multi-instrumentalist was a founding member of Aphrodite's Child. He went on to collaborate on bandmate Vangelis's solo albums. He is credited on some releases by various spellings of his name, including Anargyros, Argiris, Argyris, Agyrilos, Anarchyris, and even Antonis. However, he is not the same person as mix engineer V. Koulouris (Vangelis Koulouris).
