A.k.a. Armando Romeu González
Conductor, arranger, composer, saxophonist, flutist. From a family of musicians received his first music lesson from his father Armando Romeu Marrero. Also nephew of Antonio María Romeu. Very young a good flutist, he began to play in bandas at the age of 9, and also began as a child to play with his father. In 1926 he began playing on Havana nightclubs, in 1941 his band took up residency at Tropicana Club in Havana during 25 years.
