Singer / Composer of World, Pop and Folk
A.k.a. Arne Trandal
Norwegian singer, musician, composer and author, born Arne Trandal on 14 May 1925, Norway - died 14 December 2016, Oslo, Norway. He started out as a singer/songwriter in the '50s and has since become a cult hero, (in)famous for his risque lyrics and a stage show where he sang and played guitar while riding a unicycle. After he fell off his "one-legged horse" during a holiday in Thailand, he had to quit the onstage acrobatics. But Arnie did play weekly with his band at the pub Tranen in Oslo, until they closed in 2012.
