Album DE 1986 on Künstlerhaus Bethanien label
Electronic and Jazz (Minimal, Modern Classical, Experimental, Free Improvisation)
Recorded at the Black Box, München. Produced by Künstlerhaus Bethanien GmbH, Berlin, in co-operation with Gasteig Betriebsgesselschaft mbH, München. The string instruments perform all in a "just" microtonal tuning system derived from the natural overtone series. The Contrabass Bodies are strung with unwound steel wire and are struck by bass bows. The Miniature Pianoforte has been rescaled and has feltless hammers and no dampers. The instruments are amplified and mixed in performance. The musicians have participated in the development of these pieces during a one-year "workshop" period at Künstlerhaus Bethanien.
