American jazz saxophonist. He was the son of jazz pianist Art Porter Sr. (1934-1993). Art Jr., played with : Pharoah Sanders, Jack McDuff, Ramsey Lewis and others. He died in a boat accident in Thailand. Born : August 03, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Died : November 23, 1996 in Sai Yok, Kanchanburi, Thailand.
