Canadian musician, producer, record company owner, conductor and record studio owner, (August 24, 1926 - May 26, 1987) Founder of the Sound Canada Recording Centre recording studio and the Op.Art label. He was a co-founder of the short lived Red Leaf label. In early 1970s founded Periwinkle Records. He was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2002
