Arturo Mazzia was born in Gattinara, a small town in Piedmont - Italy, on October 31st 1986. Since during his childhood he began to approach to pop music, due to the influence of his parents who were great music lovers. Around the age of 10 Arturo begins to listen to the radio, in particular Discoradio, a national radio that mainly transmits Dance music and Euro-Dance. The interest in electronic music blossoms out in particular when listening to the "Alternative Hit" for the first time, a ranking of the 15 most "alternative" tracks of the dance field broadcasted weekly on the above mentioned radio. The ranking mainly featured techno-trance tracks. Probably impressed by the peculiarity and refinement of the proposed tracks, especially for the coexistence of melodic parts and rhythmic parts, the broadcast of the ranking becomes an unmissable weekly event, often also recorded on audiocassette. It arises the need to better understand this genre of music and to create personalized mixes. Arturo then begins to record the individual pieces in sequence on customized audiotapes. Years go by and the continuous musical research leads to discover R.I.N. Radio Italia Network and the radio program "Vitamina H", hosted by Tony H and Lady Helena. Here a further evolution of Arturo's musical tastes takes place, as he discovers artists of the caliber of Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, and he further refines his passion for trance music. During his adolescence Arturo begins to frequent clubs, festivals and raves, especially in Italy and Switzerland, where he attends the performances of international artists. Around the age of 20, listening to music is no longer enough and Arturo starts his activity as DJ using the pseudonym of Arthesia. In the following years he performed in various clubs in the area of Biella and Turin, proposing electronic music mainly of trance genre. Years go by and the strong passion makes the activity of DJ not enough, then Arturo decides to start the adventure of musical production, the main activity in the musical field still carried out by the artist (2019). His productions can be defined as different sub-genres of trance music.
