Arthona Louise Sexton Coffey (maiden name Arthona Louise Sexton) (b. May 25, 1922 in Paint Rock Community, Scott County, Tennessee, USA, d. Dec. 29, 2009 in Huntsville, Scott County, Tennessee, USA), was a Christian gospel singer and accordion player. The parents and their children made up the well known Coffey Family singers which toured several states and sang in churches, conventions, and on television and radio programs. Arthona and her husband Claude Coffey were the owners and operators of a construction and building Supply Company in the Huntsville Community [Tennessee USA]. Before her passing, Arthona was named Scott County´s Mother of the Year. She found great joy in her kitchen by cooking and gathering around the table with her family and many friends.
