After the Biafran war, Arthur Freds joined Friimen Music Coy, but the Friimen already had a long-standing keyboardist, Beni Tudumey. Beni established a strong friendship with Arthur Freds and did not let Arthur Freds go away from Friimen, even though he (Beni) was the band's keyboardist. Arthur Freds went to the recording studios in Lagos, Onitsha, Awka, Enugu, etc. with the Friimen. From the Friimen, and with the encouragement of Beni Tudumey, Arthur Freds joined hands with his new friends and formed Sweet Unit Rock Group of Aba in those early seventies, he was the keyboardist of Sweet Unit.Rock Group. He played keyboards for several other groups such as Vibrations, Voice of the Cross, etc. He went on national tours with groups such as The Apostles, The Wings, Sweet Breeze, etc. He had a close involvement with the Genesis, especially when Uncle Sam was keyboardist of Genesis. Tony Mansound was fond of Arthur Freds.
