This compilation P & © 2006 and P & © 2016 Audika Records LLC, under exclusive license from the estate of Arthur Russell Remastered 2LP set with 12 page booklet including liner notes by Tim Lawrence, Ernie Brooks and Arthur Russell Abrupt beginning, endings, edits and ambient sounds are intentional and transferred from the original tape sources. "Instrumentals" Vol. 2 was digitally transferred from the original 1984 vinyl, as the master tapes have been lost. The second side of that LP was inadvertently mastered at half-speed, and has now been corrected (Side Two tracks 2-3 and Side Three tracks 1-2 [tracks B2, B3 and C1, C2]). All material previously released on the 2006 Audika Records compilation First Thought Best Thought "Instrumentals" Volume 2 originally released by Another Side of Les Disques Du Crépuscule 1984.
