We would like to thank Professor Walter Levin for the use of the revised score of the Webern Rondo. Peter Schuhmayer plays a violin by the Cremonese master Andreas Guarnerius from approximately 1690 owned by the Austrian National Bank. For this recording 20-bit technology was used for "high defintion sound". Recorded at the Mozartsaal, Konzerthaus Wien, Austria, April 16-20, 1991.
