Album front reproduces the program handwritten by Toscanini for the January 13, 1945 concert. The reverse reproduces the printed program for the January 14, 1926, Toscanini's first with the Philharmonic-Symphony. Track D2 is with the NBC Orchestra from a broadcast December 7, 1940. All the other tracks are with the New York Philharmonic-Symphony from the 1/13/45 concert. The notes inside the gatefold are reproductions of the reviews of this concert by Robert Bagar (NY World-Telegram); Jerome Bohm (NY Herald Tribune) and Olin Downs (NY Times).
