Album US 2002 on Trash Art Records label
Rock (Math Rock, Hardcore, Grindcore)
Contrary to popular belief, there were a little more than 2,000 of this album pressed, as opposed to previous mentions of only 500. It was pressed to cd, only. The disc itself is half-clear (due to the length being only 4:40) with a print of a white figure holding his head, placed over a red splatter. There are two inserts that are made of a white/clear velum-like material, one with a drawing of a girl holding a machete (located under the disc, itself), and the other being the front insert, which has the track listing and also states: "8949 This is As The Sun Sets' final recording. March 21st, 2002, the sun set for the last time. March 22nd, 2002, we begin anew as Daughters." Underneath the disc, itself, is another insert that unfolds, and contains some dialogue from Alexis (vocalist) about why they broke up, as well as the lyrics to the 5 tracks, and information on the band members' 3 preceding projects.
