Ashbury Heights is a Swedish Synthpop group consisting of singer/producer/songwriter-duo Anders Hagström and Tea F. Thimé (Since 2013). Originally the duo consisted of Anders Hagström and Yasmine Uhlin. Anders and Yasmine met in November 2005 and, upon discovering that they shared the same musical vision, decided to form a band. Their collaboration soon came into fruition and a 9 track demo entitled Angora Overdrive was released after a very intensive month in the studio. In November of 2008 Yasmine announced her departure from Ashbury Heights to form a new band Javelynn. Anders simultaneously announced the addition of Kari to Ashbury Heights as a replacement for Yasmine, and the new lineup's first output is to be the album 'Take Cair Paramour'. Since 2013, Tea F. Thimé is part of Ashbury Heights and debuted as a singer in the album The Looking Glass Society (2015)
