Post-metal/Progressive/Sludge/Ambient band from Besancon, France Darkness has its own beauty and Asidefromaday explore and reveals those aspects step by step. These five shadows are doing what they do best : provide a lumbering heaviness that marches you to its precipice, lingers there for a moment, then sends you helplessly crashing back down. Ever since this French band was founded in 2000, they never stopped to follow their own steps. Their sound has progressed from early material being heavily hardcore and metal influenced to one much less aggressive and more concerned with orchestration. The band has toured a lot, more than 300 shows all over Europe and supported bands like : Cult Of Luna, Envy, Gojira, Russian Circles, Baroness, Keelhaul, Knut, EF, Torche, The Ocean...
