Part of a series of re-issues produced in Italy - also issued as "Suite Punta del Este - Theme from the Movie 12 Monkeys" Five songs were recorded live in Milan in 1984 with the quintet. Suite Punta del Este was recorded live in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1982, A. Piazzolla: bandoneon and the Caracas Chamber Orchestra (possibly the only version on which Piazzolla himself plays, the same version has been released on other Italian re-issues).
