Raised in the windswept Shetland Islands, soloist Astrid Williamson returns with 'Slake', the storming first single taken from her brand new album 'Here Come The Vikings', set for release on One Little Indian records June 8th. 'Slake' injects some pace into Astrid's slower material, recapturing elements of her earlier rock sound. Accompanied by a set of upfront lyrics and trademark haunting vocals, this track rolls on with a renewed sense of urgency whilst still drifting effortlessly and dreamlike.
