Danish 70's group from Thy, Northern Jutland. Mainly a live act playing covers of rock and pop songs. Formed 1970 as "Atlantic Kvartetten", altered the name to "Atlantic Express" in 1972 with the expansion of Verner Schytte. 1972 line up: Verner Schytte (Bass, lead vocals), Svend Christensen (Organ, lead guitar), Holger Munch Larsen (Rhythm guitar, vocals), Henry Overgård (Drums) 1973; Henry Overgård replaced by Peter Christoffersen and Svend Christensen by Bjarne Ryming 1974: Expands to a quintet with Per Bredahl on bass 1975: blev Holger Munch Larsen replaced by Jan Povlsen Disbanded 1977
